Oral Health

The Oral Health Navigation Learning Series is a free, self-paced online program designed to strengthen oral health knowledge and support career exploration in Maine’s dental workforce, especially in rural areas. Developed through a statewide collaboration led by COHN and MCD Global Health, the series offers two levels of coursework within the University of Maine System micro-credential framework, enabling learners to earn digital badges and build toward a full credential with employer partnership. Featuring accessible, science-based content, videos, and quizzes, the program equips healthcare and community service workers (such as EMS, RNs, CNAs, CHWs, and MAs) with foundational oral health skills while helping address critical workforce shortages across the state.
